The upcoming Bronco Sport has been leaked, this appears to be the full-size Bronco. Its shape, fender flares, grille, and round headlights align with what we have seen in the spy photos.
The two-door Bronco known as the Baby Bronco has been leaked with a hardtop. Ford reportedly presented the two-door Bronco at a dealer meeting. No photos leaked out from the dealer event, however, attendees said the SUV maintained retro styling of the original, including a rectangular grille and round headlights. Ford officials say the Bronco will be a body-on-frame 4x4, solid front, and rear axles, and an "Air Roof."
No specs have been confirmed, but it's likely the Bronco will receive a variant of the Ford Ranger's 2.3-liter EcoBoost unit, which produces 270hp and 310 pounds of torque, combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Bronco will share its frame with the Ranger pickup, the SUV could use an aluminum body because the panels come from the same stamping plant as the F-150.
Patent applications tell us that parts of the Bronco's body would be removable, some via a quick-release system. Owners would allegedly be able to take off the doors and store them in the rear of the vehicle. Panels in the roof would also come off to allow for open-air motoring.
We expect it to debut in April 2020.
