DK Ford has been a proud sponsor of the Leduc Riggers Jr. hockey program for the past 20-plus years. Supporting youth sports is a cornerstone of our dealership's commitment to the community, and we are thrilled to continue our partnership with this local hockey team.
Supporting Local Hockey for Over 20 Years
Community involvement is essential to who we are. Sponsoring the Leduc Riggers for more than two decades has allowed us to support the development of local athletes and be a part of the excitement that youth hockey brings to the region.
Who Are the Leduc Riggers?
The Leduc Riggers is a competitive Junior B hockey program that has represented the Leduc community since 1973. The team competes in the Capital Junior Hockey League (CJHL), which consists of 14 teams divided into West and East divisions. Our local program carries a roster of approximately 25 players each season.
Building Character On and Off the Ice
The organization exists to develop athletes not only as hockey players, but as leaders, teammates, and positive representatives of the community. Success is not measured by wins alone, but by the standard the team upholds every day in preparation, professionalism, and conduct.
The Riggers hold themselves to a high standard in four key areas:
- Accountability
- Character
- Commitment
- Team First
Every player, coach and staff member contributes to the reputation and culture of the organization, working together to build a sustainable program for years to come.
Good Luck This Season
As the team prepares for another great year, everyone at the dealership is cheering them on. Good luck on the upcoming season, Riggers! We strongly believe in the importance of investing in our own community, and we encourage everyone to shop local and support local.
