Our community came together this September, and the results were incredible. DK Ford is proud to announce that we collected a final total of 1,406 pounds of food for the Leduc Food Bank as part of the Ford Global Food Drive.
When we launched this year's drive, we set an ambitious goal of 1,024 pounds. Because we collected 512 pounds last year, we aimed to double that figure. Thanks to the generosity of Leduc residents, our customers, and our local business partners, we smashed that target and nearly tripled our previous year's total.
Loading Up the Truck for Local Families
Throughout September, our collection area at the dealership steadily filled up with non-perishable food and essential items. Watching the donations roll in was a great reminder of how strongly this community supports its neighbours.
By the end of the drive, our truck was packed tight. We even captured a time-lapse video of our team loading up the final donations, and the sheer volume of food heading to the Leduc Food Bank was a proud moment for everyone at DK Ford.
A Special Thank You to Our Leduc Partners
An achievement like this is never a solo effort. We want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who dropped off a donation, shared our posts, and helped spread the word.
We also want to give a special shoutout to the local businesses that stepped up in a big way to support the drive. Thank you to:
- Vintage Towing
- Autoglass Solutions Leduc
- Renegade Autobody
- ABCO Crane Services Ltd.
- Armaguard Coatings Leduc
Your contributions made a significant impact on our final total and will go a long way in helping families across the Leduc region. We are incredibly proud to be part of a community that shows up for each other when it counts. Thank you, Leduc!
