New Ford Escape for Sale in Leduc, AB

The 2026 Escape largely carries forward the existing lineup while simplifying a few hybrid and drivetrain combinations. The biggest change is on Platinum: its standard powertrain is now the 2.5L hybrid with all-wheel drive, with the 2.0L EcoBoost still available through a separate equipment group. Ford has also removed the front-wheel-drive hybrid configuration previously offered on ST-Line; the standard ST-Line now uses the 1.5L EcoBoost with front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

Other changes include:

• Vapor Blue Metallic now listed as an extra-cost exterior colour

Ford lists no newly introduced trims or major package additions for 2026.

1.5L EcoBoost Engine

Standard on Active and ST-Line, paired with an eight-speed automatic and Auto Start-Stop technology. Both trims can be configured with front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive, a practical setup for everyday driving, with AWD adding confidence on Leduc-area snow and icy intersections.

2.0L EcoBoost Engine

Offered on ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, and Platinum, paired with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.
