I have to say, my service advisor was fantastic. He was professional, detail-oriented, and very informative while getting my truck checked in for an oil change. I felt like I was in good hands initially. However, the experience went downhill once the truck hit the shop. I specifically asked for the transmission fluid level to be checked while the truck was already up on the hoist during the oil change. Unfortunately, the technician forgot to do it. Instead of catching it while it was in the air, they had to pull the truck back into the bay afterward to perform the check and cost me the rest of my day going from a 1 hour service to a almost 3 hour service and had to cancel my other plans. The most disappointing part was the bill and not being informed of the mistake. I also wasn't informed that taking it back in and lack of communication that they would be doing so would result in such a massive price jump—I ended up with an additional charge that was a complete surprise. I was trying to avoid high, unexpected costs by being proactive, but I walked out with a bill I wasn't prepared for due to a simple oversight by the tech. I believe in time respected for work done but i dont believe in not informing customers of additional charges without permission as this was one reason i searched for another dealership for service. I really liked the front-end service, but the lack of coordination in the shop and the surprise pricing makes me hesitant about making this my permanent service home. Less
