The deal didn't go as smoothly as it could have been. Roland the sales person was great, we agreed on a price and I gave them my AMEX for a deposit. Their General manage Lloyd GRAPENTINE stepped in and pretty much changed the whole deal last minute. I have text messages and emails as proof regarding the agreed upon deal and he said I either take it at the new price or go away. At the time (August 2022) there was very little options in terms of availability on trucks which means Lloyd knew that I had very little choice but to take his new deal. They basically took advantage of the current market and knew that people had no choice but to comply or not get a truck. When I received my truck I noticed that the paint protection film was missing in certain areas that they agreed to apply to, Roland was great in making sure those areas were fixed. I also found a scrape on the door edge that has been covered up by touch up paint. I brought this up to Lloyd and per usual his response was less that stellar. He basically refused to take responsibility and insinuated that i might have caused the scrap (which is impossible since i can't even buy touch up paint for my Truck since its on back order everywhere). Eventually I had to concede and had to pay half of the cost to fix it (they paid only half reluctantly). I highly doubt the way Lloyd went about dealing with us will be acceptable to customers now that the there is more trucks available and people have choices. Customers do not forget they way they are treated during one of the biggest purchase. Less
No problem with the service part of the visit. It’s virtually impossible to get ahold of anyone in service. They are either way to busy or lack of staff.
